GLEE, Zombies and more

I was going to blog about Glee today. Did anyone catch it? I forgot it was on and only caught the last 15-20 minutes of it. I was too busy memorizing Alice lines to even think of watching TV. But if I had known my sister-separated-at-birth-diva-extraordinaire, Kristin Chenoweth, was going to be on it, I would have thrown down the script and said, "Screw It." I love her. She's fabulous! She sang 'Home' from The Wiz and now I feel the urge to buy it on iTunes. (That song is so wonderful, I think I secretly want to be black so I could be in that show someday. :)

But I'm not going to blog about Glee because I got a little excited about an email I just got. It was from Amazon.com showing me different books/selections that are on sale right now. This particular email centered around zombie books. (I know you're thinking, "Really? That made you excited?") BUT, it was one of those books that made me super-excited. It was called How To Speak Zombie: A Guide for the Living by Steve Mockus. Why does this book make me excited, you ask? Well, Steve is my cousin's boyfriend. Let's just call Steve my 'pseudo-cousin.' He and my cousin have been together for over 10 years and they live in San Fransisco. He works as an editor but just recently wrote this children's book. Awesome, huh? So of course, when I saw this random email from Amazon.com I got excited and thought, "I know him! I know him! I know him!"

My mom bought a few books and is sending them to him to get his autograph. I can't wait to get ours. I think Bergstrom and I will have a lot of fun speaking zombie around the apartment. OH! And did you notice the little sound device that helps you make zombie sounds. How fun is that? Come on...you know you want it. It's only $10 bucks!
